Rybak", abstract = "In recent years, the hard coal mining industry is increasingly practicing outsourcing according various types of work. These practices are not necessarily well perceived by miners because they can affect their wages indirectly or directly. First of all external employees treat work in mining company as a source of a quick income. Therefore, external companies often calculate their employees compensation not based on a working time but on the basis of a specific, accomplished task. Such employment is called piecework, whereas the workers employed in this kind of system are called output workers/piece workers. Therefore, employees in these companies to receive a higher wages carry out their tasks faster and more efficiently. This in turn can affect the standards of workers employed by the mining company. In addition, outsourced workers are often retired miners, so the costs incurred by employers are significantly lower. Therefore, companies are willing to pay a higher hourly rate. On the other hand, outsourced work can be done in a hurry (on a chord), which is not conducive to compliance with safety regulations, therefore mine employees may feel unsafe. This article aims to show how miners evaluate the use of outsourced services to perform underground work. For this purpose a survey among mine workers in one of the mining companies was conducted.", address = "51 Alexander Malinov blvd, Sofia, 1712, Bulgaria", booktitle = "4th International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference on Social Sciences and Arts SGEM 2017", chapter = "SOCIAL SCIENCES: Section Business and Management", doi = "10.5593/sgemsocial2017/15/S05.012", isbn = "978-619-7408-17-1", issn = "2367-5659", keywords = "mining; management; human resources management; outsourcing", month = "24 - 30 August 2017", note = "4th International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference on Social Sciences and Arts SGEM 2017, 24 - 30 August 2017", number = "5", organization = "Bulgarian Acad Sci; Acad Sci Czech Republ; Latvian Acad Sci; Polish Acad Sci; Russian Acad Sci; Serbian Acad Sci {\&} Arts; Slovak Acad Sci; Natl Acad Sci Ukraine; Natl Acad Sci Armenia; Sci Council Japan; World Acad Sci; European Acad Sci, Arts {\&} Letters; Ac", pages = "91-98", publisher = "STEF92 Technology", series = "International Multidisciplinary Scientific Conference on Social Sciences and Arts-SGEM", title = "{ANALYSIS} {OF} {THE} {SOCIOLOGICAL} {ASPECT} {OF} {USING} {EMPLOYEE} {OUTSOURCING} {IN} {COAL} {COMPANIES} {IN} {POLAND}.", type = "Proceedings Paper", url = "https://www.sgemsocial.org/index.php/jresearch-article?citekey=Wlodarczyk201759198", volume = "17", year = "2017", }
