INVESTMENTS IN AGROTOURIST ESTABLISMENTS FROM MOUNTAIN AREA AND FORECASTS RELATED TO THEIR RECOVERY

- Abstract:
- Many EU governments recognize that rural tourism is an alternative that can save agriculture and that "over the next 20 years, tourism will be the mainstay of the economy, and tourism and rural tourism will become the tourism of the future". Peculiarities of rural tourist areas, various financing arrangements for the purpose of investment in rural tourism, create for the future investor many dilemmas. There are many regions in that serve to be promoted and visited, particularly for traditional, specific, authentic products that it offers. The paper’s goal is to realize an overview of the valuable elements of a rural, mountainous area from Romania, still not appropriate exploited in terms of tourism. Furthermore, the purpose is to realize a concrete study specifically on how the employment degree of an agrotourist household influences payback time. Were analyzed cases considered: (I.a) total investment, without loans, (I.b) total investment, subsidized with 50% case, (II.a) investment with 10 year loan, advance 50%, 7% interest, (II.b.) 10 year loan investment with 50% advance, interest 7%, subsidized with 50% case, (III.a) the investment with 10 year loan, advance 0%, 7%interest (III.b.) investment with 10 year loan, advance 0% 7% interest, subsidized with 50% case.
