  • Kuzmina, V.
Abstract:
The article is focused on the influence of the art workers on the solution of the urgent problems of the industrial modernization in the USSR. The author proves by the archival documents the fact that the creative intelligentsia carried out work with the population which was implicitly directed to the acceleration of the industrial modernization. Questions of cultural construction is always held by the party and the State, so the party had to attract the intelligentsia in the process of forming a new Soviet ideology and culture. The new Soviet ideology was based on the principles of denying the past cultural development should form a type of person willing to work for the homeland is not for money, but for the idea. And intellectuals through posters, works of art, paintings, music, dramatic staging’s had to create this new Soviet man. Examples of works of art say that thanks to the creativity of the poets and writers in the community were fixed the following socio-cultural symbols: Soviet-fighter, which aspires to build a new Socialist reality; the selfless work for the good of the fatherland; sacrifice of individual to collective. In addition to the moral and ideological symbols appear still and symbols of economic and technical life: five-year plan; space exploration; Highway etc. On this basis we can say that today in our perception of "Soviet Union" concept is controversial because for some it is a time of greatness, for others is the time of repression. Both are symbols of the Soviet era, in which they were brought up, and the greatest merit of our local poets and writers. The modern generation of researchers should objectively refers to events in the history of their country and analyze the contribution of intellectuals in the formation of the Soviet culture and ideology.
