THE INFLUENCE OF POWER FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS ON LIVING ORGANISMS

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of industrial electromagnetic fields on the genetic structure homeostasis of living organisms and the incidence of oncologic diseases. To accomplish this goal were used biochemical, cytological and genetic methods. Using these methods, we determined the effects of electromagnetic fields with different frequencies on the occurrence of chromosomal changes and disruption of homeostasis in laboratory animals.
Content of serum proteins we measured by micro-electrophoresis. In research used the statistical data for 11 years of the number of oncological patients in different parts of the city. In the experiment, continuous, intermittent, and the modulated electromagnetic fields. The result showed that the electromagnetic fields of industrial frequency is the strongest physical factors.
The electromagnetic fields cause a statistically significant increase of chromosomal changes in experimental animals, especially with increasing exposure time. Electromagnetic effects alter the ratio of blood proteins and lead to disruption of organism homeostasis. There is a decrease in total blood protein, albumin. There is a growth in the level of serum globulins by - globulins. We studied the incidence of cancer among residents of the city for 11 years in the locations of the electromagnetic field of industrial frequency.
The research results revealed that electromagnetic fields of industrial frequency leads to contamination of ecological systems, significantly increase the frequency of chromosomal changes in the genetic apparatus in laboratory animals (increase in the frequency of aberrant cells from 2.0 to 2.8%), stimulate the growth of globulin fractions of blood proteins (changes made 15%), especially by increasing the time of exposure to electromagnetic fields. Electromagnetic fields can increase the risk of cancer at people who have long been located in the zone of their actions.
