FACTORS OF STUDENTS’ SOCIAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT AND ITS EVALUATION CRITERIA IN HIGH SCHOOL

The article describes the most important aspects of the methodological problems of students’ social competence formation in higher education related to the search of modern educational technologies, adequate system of criteria for its formed levels. Social competence is regarded as holistic integral growth of the person’s property, which includes a set of social knowledge, skills, life ways, as well as socially significant qualities and personality characteristics required for high-quality professional and productive public and personal life. The high level of formed social competence is related to «samotranstsendentnost» phenomenon when there is a need for a positive social transformation, focus on the «Other», translation the best personal intentions and qualities that directly correlates with the concept of «social stability», «social progress».
Proposed in article the social competence structure is investigated in the context of student identity socialization process as in high school educational space is «mastery of new social roles», formed adaptive personal characteristic. Should be considered that the individual has already mastered the internalization process and open to the balanced integration into the social relations system, but still not formed a social competence sufficient level, one that would contribute to the individual’s life success in the society.
The article presents the most effective mechanisms of students’ social competence formation in high school educational space, the best examples of diagnostic methods for determining its development degree.
Methods: methodological basis of the study is the main theory of individual’s formation mechanisms and social development; authors’ researching results, based on the questioning methods, observation, peer review. The article also used the principles of system approach, the basic cognition scientific methods.
Results: In the framework of this perspective defines the concept of «social competence » essence, it contains social competence structure; isolated educational mechanisms that affect the student’s individual social development; given the methodology for determining its formation degree.
Conclusions: These results can be adapted to the organization practice of universities activity in improving the educational mechanisms that influence the students’ social competence formation.
