HOW LONG WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE? THE SOCIAL CONSTRUCTION OF A FUTURE LIFESTYLE

The research has explored intentions of future life expectancy for explanations of characteristics of lifestyle. Lifestyle has defined as important life values and an experience of resources accumulations for life today.
The sociological research was based on questionnaire of young people (416 citizens of Yekaterinburg 2014-2015, 28 years average). Results have described types of life intentions: “Long life” (not longer than 70 years) and “Short life” (71 years and longer). The research model has included: Life values; Importance resources; Way of activity; Person’s characteristics. Analyze was realized on base of statistically significant connections. Life expectations have researched as culture characteristics of lifestyle.
Subjective life expectations realized as social and culture practice, because connected with life values, social resources, method’s activities and person’s actualization.
“Long Life” – project of lifestyle, accumulated healthy values, social spaces, successful practices and positive person’s characteristics.
“Short Life” – idea of lifestyle, based on fragmentary values, essence of it is deficit of internal personal abilities and no realized opportunities.
Results are important for self-organized social practices, promotion healthy lifestyle and are perspective for research of factors a life expectancy.
