ABSTRACT
The authors of the paper investigated a shift in interpersonal qualities, throughout the period of one school year, brought by implementation of the ethical educational program for 11-13 year olds (n=174 respondents) in comparison with the control group, which has not undergone the program (n=174). For verification of interpersonal shifting the authors used an Interpersonal checklist in self-report and peer-report form (La Forge, Suczek, 1955), for its good indicators to measure affiliation and protectivity as complex dimensions of interpersonal relating of the child respondents. In the context of prosociality we chose a shortened version (32 items), with the maintenance of absolute dimensions of cooperativity, affiliation (kindness), protectivity (thoughtfulness) and responsibility. A statistically significant decrease occurred in all the attributes of the control group in the self-report form. The peer-report of interpersonal behaviour in the sensitive thoughtfulness was marked by a positive significant increase in the experimental and control group. In the summary evaluation (average self-, peer-report) there was a statistically significant decrease in the co-operation and increased thoughtfulness in the experimental group.
