CHANGES IN TOURISTS’ PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STATE ASSOCIATED WITH CULTURAL TOURISM

ABSTRACT
The paper examines the psycho-emotional state of tourists under conditions of cultural and educational tour to the Perm Region of Russia. The basic concepts of tourism are presented as well as analysis of literature concerning the assessment of the status of tourists. The paper proposes the method of assessment the state of the tourists under conditions of cultural and educational tour and presents the analysis of indicators.
In today’s world, cultural tourism provides mankind’s moral and educational unity, promotes the tolerance establishment, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world’s cultures. Cultural tourism allows you to combine the various interests of tourists to the monuments of history, archeology, nature, ethnography, ecology, religion, events. An important subject of cultural tourism is a person with his interest in the culture of different countries and peoples, to cultural values of humanity as a whole and of individual regions and districts.
The human factor is one of the most important elements in the system of cultural tourism. The variety of existing factors influencing the tourists is related to the interaction between all tourism elements, as products of human activity. A person is acting as a consumer of cultural tourism services, and is exposed to the conditions of the infrastructure businesses that provide sleep and rest organization, good nutrition, quality service and state of the tour excursion objects. An important role in cultural tourism belongs to the vehicle. The complexity of the night journeys, busy excursion programs result in significant physical, mental and emotional stress. The psycho-emotional sphere state, characterizing the process of functional changes in the body of a tourist is of particular relevance to the travel physiology study. The indicators of activity, mood, reduced anxiety and depressive state, hemodynamic changes as a barometer of the cardiovascular system are the original markers of cultural tourism favorability.
